This young female had undergone a previous rhinoplasty with unfavourable results. Her tip was blunted and underprojected from the profile view while excess overhanging columeela was obvious(too much "nostril show" seen from the side). Her frontal view did not give justice to the rest of her facial features.

She underwent a revision rhinoplasty by Dr Haworth to correct the aforementioned problems via an open technique. Dr Haworth often performs his rhinoplasties via an open route to maximally control the final outcome of the nasal surgery. Minor irregularities, asymmetries, breathing problems and tip definition are all best managed through an open method since it allows the plastic surgeon the fullest access and view of the underlying structure of the nose.

9 month follow-up photos are presented. Fraxel laser treatment to smooth out her skin and minimize brown spots was also performed
