This young girl had facial disharmony caused by a receding chin and an overly projecting nose yet was foreshortened congenitally. Interestingly, she also congenital "pinched tip", from most probably concave alar cartridges. She came to Dr. Randal Haworth a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who is an expert in facial surgery and rhinoplasty to correct her facial dissonance.

Dr. Haworth, top rhinoplasty expert Beverly Hills, performed a rhinoplasty, with attention directed to narrow her strong bony bridge through lateral and medial osteotomies, derotate her nasal tip with extended spreader grafts and correct her pinched tip with cartlilage grafts reinforcement of her lateral crura.

A chin implant and submental liposuction was also performed to complete the "picture".

This young girl's life has been changed for the better with improved self confidence and attitude inside and out. Though the patient still has numbness and stiffness of her nasal tip, this by no means prevents her from enjoying her life to the fullest. This numbness and stiffness generally persists for 3 to 4 months postoperatively.
