This patient had undergone multiple surgeries to repair her cleft lip/nasal deformity's. She came to Dr. Randal Haworth, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon specializing in lip reconstruction, lip reshaping surgery and upper lip lifts, to help her. After careful analysis, Haworth not only wanted to normalize her perioral/lip region but also to beautify it as well. He performed in an upper lip lift incorporating it into a cleft lip scar revision. In addition to performing a corner lip lift he also carried out a lower lip V2Y plasty to narrow the mouth, raise the lower lip and pout it out in the middle third. He finalized the treatments with enhanced off-the-shelf filler and fat transfer techniques to reconstruct the natural topography of the lip border and philtral column.

The upper lip has better projection (2 mm anterior to the lower) along with a nicely defined right philtral column and definition of the "white roll" or Vermilion border.
