This young model was displeased with the final outcome of her previous rhinoplasty /nose job. From an objective plastic surgical standpoint, she had a wide nasal tip which was ill-defined and somewhat asymmetrical as well as a "Pollybeak" (a.k.a. supratip) deformity. What this latter condition describes can be better visualized on the profile view-a round fullness situated above the nasal tip. This gives the illusion that the actual nasal tip is ill-defined and drooping. Furthermore, she had hollow circles around her lower eyelids as well as cheek flatness giving her a "drawnout" appearance. To complete her surgical transformation, an upper lip lift was planned.

Dr. Haworth, being a specialist in Beverly Hills in all aspects of facial plastic surgery (including fat transfer, upper lip lifts and revision rhinoplasty), performed fat transfer around her lower eyelids, cheeks and finally to her lateral jaws in order to amplify her facial harmony. Dr. Haworth has coined the term hyperesthetic surgery to describe performing these many different, yet subtle surgical procedures upon the face adhering to the principle that the final total result is greater than the sum of its individual parts.

Of course, Dr. Haworth performed a revision rhinoplasty to correct her nasal deformity in addition to an upper lip lift. He chose an open approach to the rhinoplasty in order to gain maximum control of the final result of the nasal surgery. Long-term follow-up photographs are presented.
