Before
After
This girl had a long upper lip and premature upper lateral vermillion tapering or what I refer to as "Apostrophe Lips". This latter condition is marked by the pink aspect of the upper lip (vermillion) rolling inwards to the point it disappears before it reaches either of the actual corners of the mouth. This in turns gives the mouth a slit like look or "joker-like" upturn to the upper lip. An upper lp lift (modified bullhorn with orbicularis oris muscle plication) and medialized corner lip lift (an operation I specifically designed to address Apostrophe lips) was performed. Generally. scars heal very well from these two surgeries. For further information, click here (http://www.drhaworth.com/lips/)
