This beautiful young woman came to Dr. Haworth, one of the best oculoplastic surgeons in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, seeking correction of her "tired eyes". On examination, h diagnosed that she had a very common aesthetic problem and that is that of a "tear trough" deformity also known in common parlance as dark, hollow circles. He recommended a fat transfer (in addition to performing a concomitant breast augmentation) to correct that particular problem.

Fat transfer is a permanent solution, acting as a living filler, so to speak. Once it establishes a blood supply (usually within 72 hours) after the initial transfer, it is able to survive and live alongside the patient for the rest of their life.
