Dr. Randal Haworth of Beverly Hills, being a breast implant revision specialist, sees these types of problems almost every day. This Asian woman had undergone a previous breast augmentation with saline, "under the muscle" but after a number of years, her left implant had ruptured resulting in an almost immediate decrease in the size of her left breast. For that reason, she sought out the help of a breast implant revision specialist.
Dr. Haworth realized that the ruptured left implant was not her only problem. She also had deformed breasts from a Baker's Grade III mammary prosthesis related capsular contracture (another words, both of her breasts were encapsulated and hard).
Dr. Randal Haworth of Beverly Hills consequently performed a bilateral capsulectomy, implant replacement (with silicone gel implants), leaving the position "under the muscle" (wherein the actual implants is covered by the muscle in the upper two thirds while the lower lateral third is not).
