This beautiful young woman came to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Haworth, specializing in hyperesthetic change including facial fat transfer, seeking a natural rejuvenation of her face. She felt that age was catching up with her, manifesting in deeper folds, wrinkles and fine lines. Haworth explained to her her various options including temporary fillers, lasers, micro needling and such. However, for a permanent and most effective result, fat transfer would be her best option. 

Fat was harvested under low pressure and purified to rid it of its blood and collagen fibers. It was then precisely transferred into the various layers of the face including just beneath the skin, muscle and onto the bone itself. After a period of bruising generally lasting 7 to 10 days or perhaps alas, the beautiful results started to emerge.

Swelling continues to subside for many weeks thereafter. Generally, one could expect little change in terms of fat resorption after 8 to 12 weeks. This patient was simply ecstatic with her results.
