| This English patient expressed dissatisfaction with her "tired eyes" and "drawn out, fatigued" appearance. She presented with prominent "tear troughs" or hollows framing her lower eyelids, bags and wrinkles. She also requested more fullness to her lips. Since she had reasonable skin elasticity for her age, an Endotine B™ VERTICAL midface lift (achieved through her lower eyelids in conjunction with a lower blepharoplasty) was performed. In this case, I did judiciously reduce some herniating fat pads from her lower lids, while adding volume to the areas just below these "bags" via fat transfer and the midface lift. This resulted in a smooth transition from her lower lash line into her cheek area. |
